How it works:

The Celebrity Karaoke Auction™ is ideal for a fund raising dinner for a corporation, organization, or association.  We provide the band & professional auctioneer, you provide the celebrities and bidders.  Here’s how it works:

Prior to the event you determine who the local celebrities are going to be.  These people are typically the board of directors, members of staff, local elected officials, etc.  Generally people well known in your community who are good sports.  On the night of your event we throw the names of your local celebs into a hat.  We then draw a name out of the hat and invite that person to the stage.  That person on stage is then asked the question, “would you like to sing?”  If the answer is yes, they can pick a song from our list and sing.  If the answer is no they can sit down.  Now here is the fun pary.  If they choose to sit down they have to pay a fee.  That fee is determined by a live auction.  The auctioneer starts the bidding and goes to the audience for the bids.  Once a price is established, the person on stage can either pay the price and sit down, or take the money and sing.

Here is an example, board member Joe gets picked, he comes up on stage and say’s there is now way he is going to sing.  The auctioneer then goes to the audience and raises $500.00 and the winning bidder is board member Mary.  Now either Joe has the pay the $500 and sit down, or he can take Mary’s $500 and sing the song.

The best part about it is that no matter weather Joe sits or sings the charity of your choice gets the $500.
